Who we are
holidayletaccountants.co.uk is an introducer service. We connect holiday let owners with independent specialist accountancy firms. We are not an accountancy practice and do not provide tax advice. You can contact us at hello@holidayletaccountants.co.uk.
What we collect
When you submit our enquiry form we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number (if provided)
- How many holiday lets you own or manage
- Anything you write in the message field
- The page you enquired from
How we use it
We use your enquiry to introduce you to a specialist accountancy firm from our network. That means we share the details you submit with the firm we match you with, so they can contact you about your enquiry. We may receive a fee from that firm if you engage them.
The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and providing the introduction you requested.
Where your data lives
Form submissions are stored in a secure spreadsheet within our Google Workspace account and processed by our website host, Netlify, when you submit the form.
Analytics and cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Analytics only runs if you choose Accept on the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@holidayletaccountants.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
